Embark on a MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience that will leave you in awe and inspires positive change. This experience, creating a plant-based menu, involves guests wandering through the 12th century passageways of historic Borough Market, where the hotel’s Executive Chef, Ben Kelliher, sources plant-based delicacies before incorporating them into a bespoke tasting menu.

Create a plant-based menu

You will first meet Executive Chef Ben Kelliher to discuss your personal requirements and preferences to create a plant-based seven-course menu with produce sourced at the market. After which, you will then return to The Rubens at the Palace, where Chef Ben will personally create your meal English Grill, including: Canapés, Breads & crudites, Starter, Seasonal fruit sorbet, Main course, Dessert: flambé Rum Baba with Borough Market fruits and a selection of Vegan cheeses.

  • We also request that 48 hours notice is given to cancel or amend a booking. After this period, payments are non-refundable.
