Since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, our wonderful team has worked so hard to ensure that our beautiful hotel is ready to welcome guests. We've implemented new wellbeing measures, repaired systems that no longer served us, and placed a strong focus on cleaning and training. We have installed air purifiers in every public area, introduced a new and sustainable self-disinfecting solution, and partnered with trusted medical professionals who offer Covid-19 PCR testing at the hotel and deliver results with speed and ease.
Our impressive Afternoon Tea selection offers something for everyone. We cater for a range of dietary requirements and offer Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten-Free Afternoon Tea menus. Celebrating the centuries old tradition of high tea, our talented pastry chef Sarah Houghting (who recently competed in Bake Off: The Professionals on Channel 4) has curated an innovative yet familiar menu of Afternoon Tea favourites with a modern twist. Champagne and bottomless Afternoon Tea options are also available.
At The Rubens at the Palace, our youngest guests are every bit as valued as our eldest. From children's check-in to complimentary mocktails, little ones also receive our five-star treatment and service. Family rooms provide a convenient solution for parents and kids can be kept entertained with our children’s Pastry Chef Experience or Little Prince and Princess Afternoon Tea.
We’ve put a great deal of work into developing our eco-friendly hotel credentials in recent years. We’ve cut food waste with partner Winnow Solutions, eliminated energy waste by moving to 100% renewable energy, we sustain a Living Wall of more than 10,000 herbaceous plants, and we’re continuing our efforts to phase out single-use plastics by 2022.
Rich, warm and filled with majestic silks, brocade and velvet, our bedrooms offer an elegantly regal experience. Each suite has a distinct character, with a dignified palette of naval blue, royal red and gold, Murano glass chandeliers and original oil paintings.
We are always delighted to discover our guests' photos and we love to share those stories and connect in a meaningful way. Nothing makes us happier than when our guests become part of our world...
